Qorvis is looking for the human AI can’t replace.
We’re hiring a Social Producer: a field-ready creator who can shoot, produce, and publish standout social content, often on the fly, with little time to scout a venue or test lighting and sound.
This is a hands-on, largely in-person role in Washington, D.C. You’ll troubleshoot locked or compromised social accounts, identify and manage influencers for sensitive campaigns, and sit down with clients to speak plainly about channel performance and what should change. You will create content and strategy for clients and internal projects.
What we’re looking for
AI can help produce social content faster, and you probably use these tools to produce better, faster, smarter. What AI can’t replace is judgment, creativity, context, taste, and the ability to physically show up and get the job done. That’s who we’re hiring.
Our work spans geopolitics, energy, trade, diplomacy, and other complex issues. You’ll need to digest complicated subject matter and turn it into content that is accurate and sophisticated (but never boring). A typical day could include filming a government official at an embassy and turning around polished content in a few hours, helping a client regain access to a long-lost account, brainstorming how to reach new leads with a Qorvis podcast, or taking photos at an after-work event for our channels.
The ideal candidate:
- Is a proven creator: an active presence of your own, or a portfolio of videos, campaigns, and content produced in the real world.
- Has field instincts — you walk into an unfamiliar venue and come out with the shot.
- Knows the platforms cold, including what to do when an account is locked or compromised and the best content for each.
- Is client-ready. You can talk performance off the cuff and say what should change or provide creative ideas.
- Exercises discretion. Our clients operate in sensitive spaces, and so will you.
- Moves fast and delivers on deadline.
We’re open to individuals interested in full-time or part-time/contract work. Active, successful digital influencers are welcome and encouraged to apply!
How to apply
Skip the traditional application. Contact Samantha Sault, Chief Editorial Officer, with your portfolio: your social profiles, videos you’ve produced, campaigns you’ve run, anything that shows what you can do.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to turn around a quick video so we can see how you think and execute under deadline.
