J.P. Carroll is an American political strategist, geopolitical analyst, and strategic communications expert. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Hispanic Media for the Republican National Committee (RNC), and he was a Technology and Democracy Fellow with the Ash Center of the Harvard Kennedy School.

J.P.’s analysis has been published by The Hill, The National Interest, Spain’s Agenda Pública, and America Magazine: The Jesuit Review of Faith and Culture, among other outlets. His reporting has been published by The Daily Caller News Foundation, The Washington Examiner, and The Weekly Standard, and has been cited by USA Today, The Daily Beast, POLITICO Influence, Roll Call, and the Tampa Bay Times. He has provided on-air analysis and commentary on BBC News, CNN Español, Univision, France 24 Español, NTN24, and Norway’s NRK.

J.P. is a Senior Fellow for National Security and Inclusive Governance with the Joseph Rainey Center for Public Policy in Washington, D.C. He holds a Master’s of Professional Studies (MPS) in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, and a B.A. in International Relations from the Joint Degree Program between The College of William & Mary in Virginia and the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom.

J.P. is a bilingual English and Spanish speaker and fluent in French. He is currently pursuing an International MBA (IMBA) from IE Business School in Madrid.
