Summer ’25 Internship (In Office)

We are currently accepting applications for Summer ’25 interns to work in person in the Qorvis Washington D.C. HQ at the National Press Building or in one of our other physical hubs.

Qorvis interns support a range of client and internal projects spanning content, marketing, public affairs, international relations, and business strategy. Qorvis interns work closely with senior leadership and agency principals, gaining hands-on experience in strategic communications, media, policy, and global affairs. Our clients include multinational corporations, governments, trade associations, and emerging technology firms across sectors such as energy, defense, finance, healthcare, and aviation.

Qorvis interns have gone on to careers in journalism, politics, public affairs, and global business—and members of our Summer ’24 intern class traveled for client work to Brussels, Dubai, even Hawaii! This is an opportunity to work on high-profile issues that shape industries, policy, and international affairs.

Depending on your interest and skills, your responsibilities may include:

  • Research & Analysis: Researching policy issues, industry trends, and media to support clients and internal projects.
  • Content & Communications: Drafting media materials, reports, content, briefing books, etc.
  • Media & Public Affairs: Monitoring news cycles, tracking media coverage, and supporting media engagement.
  • Event & Client Support: Assisting with client meetings and event planning.
  • Digital & Creative Support: Social media management, graphic design, content creation, and digital strategy.
  • Marketing & Business Development: Supporting internal marketing and new business initiatives, including content development, proposal research and design, and database maintenance.
  • Office Administration: General administrative support, including scheduling, meeting prep, document organization, and assisting with daily office operations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student or recent graduate in the Washington D.C. area.
  • The ideal candidate will have a previous internship (Capitol Hill, political campaign, media outlet, business/bank, etc.) or demonstrated interest or experience in public affairs, research, writing, digital content/social media, or management consulting.
  • Experience with any of the following tools would be a plus (but not necessarily required): Adobe Suite, Canva, Meltwater, Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint, Salesforce or similar CRM, WordPress.

Location & Availability:

  • Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week in person in the office during normal business hours (generally 9 AM to 5 PM ET).
  • Flexibility regarding specific days and times is possible; however, availability for global staff calls a few days per week at 9 AM ET (10 AM ET on Fridays) is essential.

We pay interns a competitive hourly rate and provide access to our facilities in the National Press Building, including the National Press Club and the fitness center.
