Executive Operations & Office Manager (Washington D.C. – In Person)

We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to provide essential in-person support for office operations and administration at our Washington, D.C. headquarters. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth daily operations and may be ideal for someone with experience in operations, finance, or administration for a congressional office, political campaign, or busy corporate environment/executive.

The position offers opportunities for leadership, including mentoring junior staff and managing key office functions and culture. We are also open to junior-level candidates who excel in organization and logistics and are eager to learn about the business while taking ownership of operational and administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Logistics & Scheduling: Support scheduling for 3-5 executives, coordinate company-wide travel requests and meetings.
  • HR & Culture: Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding/offboarding staff and vendors, driving D.C. office culture and developing opportunities for teambuilding and networking.
  • Operations: Support CEO, CFO, General Counsel, and partners with financial and legal tasks, client and vendor onboarding/offboarding, vendor management.
  • Office Administration: Handle office supplies, mail, kitchen upkeep, visitor management, and meeting arrangements.
  • IT: Assist the IT team with organizing and securing digital assets, tracking technology assets (e.g., phones, computers), addressing physical tech support needs, and managing documents and resources in Microsoft Teams/SharePoint and other digital drives.
  • Business Development: Assist with CRM data entry and maintenance, and support the development of proposals.

Location & Availability:

  • This position is based in person in the Washington D.C. office; while we offer some degree of flexibility, this role is not suitable for remote work.
  • This role can be part-time or hourly, with the potential for full-time support depending on the candidate’s experience and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in administrative support or office management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and logistics skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.
